    5K Run

    Date/Time: Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 @ 9 am

    Entry Fee: $15.00 entry fee on or before 5/1/08. $17.00 entry fee after 5/1/08 (Shirts guaranteed to the first 300 runners).

    Age Divisions: Males & Females: up to 14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & older.

    Awards: Awards will be given to the 1st place overall male and female runner and to the top 3 runners in each age division.

    Transportation: First Student buses provides transportation from the YMCA to the starting line. The last bus leaves the YMCA at 8:40 am SHARP!

    Facilities: There will be toilet facilities available at the YMCA and the starting line. There will be a changing area available at the YMCA only. No lockers will be provided.

    Race Packets: Race packets will be available for pick up on May 2nd from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Dutchess County YMCA & race day beginning at 7:30 am.

    Kids Race:

    Date/Time:  May 3, 2008 @ 10 am

    Entry Fee: $8.00 on or before 5/1/08. $10.00 after 5/1/08 (Shirts guaranteed to the first 50 runners).

    Age Divisions: Girls & Boys up to 6 years, 7-9 years, & 10-12 years.

    Kids Race Awards: Awards will be given out to the top 3 runners in each age group.

    Special Note: The Bridge Authority has requested that all runners cross the bridge in 15 minutes or less so that it may reopen to traffic. If you cannot run the 1st mile in less than 12 minutes, you will need to start from an alternate starting line. Please notify us if this is the case for you. The Bridge Authority has been very generous and cooperative for allowing this event to close down the bridge. Please be courteous and patient when waiting at the start line for the race to begin.
    Babysitting is available starting at 7:30 am until 30 minutes after the end of the race. You must register and pay for your child by 5/1/08. The non-refundable fee is $5.00 per child and you must allow plenty of time to properly register your child the day of the race.
