    Babysitting/Child Watch

    Both the Dutchess County YMCA and Exercise Express have babysitting/child watch hours. Below here you will find the schedules to both facilities.

    Child Watch Schedule at the YMCA
    Childwatch is available on an as needed basis.  Contact our membership director with specific questions and times.

    Babysitting Hours 
    Monday through Friday from 9:00 am - 12:00 am

    Fee: $3.50 per hour, per family

    Brookside Day Care
    Brookside Day Care offers children marvelous opportunities for growth and development in an enriching and supportive environment. We nurture and teach children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. We respect the fact that the children have individual needs and have their own process and rate of learning.

    The children have the opportunity to actively learn through explanation and play either by him/herself, in a small group or in a larger group. We take pride in the longevity of our staff who go through continual training throughout the year. The staff guides the children through their social, emotional and educational growth by responding promptly to their needs and questions. Our early learning center is open Monday through Friday, year round, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Brookside serves a nutritous breakfast and two snacks a day.

    YMCA School Age Child Care
    The YMCA offers quality Before & After-School programs that are great for you and great for the kids! All programs are NYS registered and provide a safe, healthy environment for your children. Our programs offer indoor and outdoor activities, creative arts, homework assistance, sports and group games and a daily snack.

    Holiday Fun Club

    Don't know what to do with your children when they have the day off? Send them to the YMCA's Fun Club! Children ages 5 - 12 can come to the Dutchess County YMCA for a day of fun that includes swimming, rock climbing, sports, games, crafts and movies. The day runs from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm. Children must bring their own lunch and we will provide an afternoon snack.

    Please note that Vacation Camps are offered during
    Christmas & Spring Recess

    Fees:
    $35/day for YMCA members
    $45/day for non-members

    Pre-registration is a must!!!
    Minimum group size of 10 children is needed to run the program.
